My name is a unique and blessed one! I love it and hold it close to my heart. It come down from my Grand Father. And its my duty to hand over to my grand son as and when I have one. However, outside of our community, my name is a puzzle: walking into a landmine traps sounds more like a cake walk! Trying hard to pronounce it right is challenging. Remembering it is perplexing! Or rather one is flummoxed!

Close friends send greeting but it ended up as if a cyclone has just hit me. My precious name is all jumbled up: Hamkola lungadhim, Lungding, Lumding just to mentioned a few. Flabbergasted! Don’t know what to do. Should I go by the Spirit and be happy. Or be annoyed and go overboard in angered over the disregard, disrespect that is so blatantly pompous and obvious in thier addressing of me.

Well, this experience does not end with me. It is the general encounter happening to all my fellow Kuki/Chin/Zomi kindreds! We are govern by the MINLUTO System of naming. My Grand Father is Limkhohem. I take the last syllable and hence my name Hemkholal come into existence. As and when I have a grand son, he will carry my last Syllable Lal and the remaining name will be my creativity. A unique name. That’s where the problem begins!

Who am I? Where do I come from? Why and for what purpose do I came into being? Multiple questions with little or no answer. That’s what life offer. My Root is what interest me but i cannot dig deep. The Rock come into picture and safe me from the futility of banging one’s head against it.

JESUS CHRIST is the Rock and a refuge that safe me from looking further for my roots, purpose in life, the why, where, how and other questions of life. He wipes away all my worries and tears of life. Comforted and assured and lovingly addressed “you are my servant. I did not reject you, but chose you. Do not be afraid-I am with you! I am your God-let nothing terrify you! ” Isaiah 41:9-10.

The Bible tell that Adam the first man was created by God Almighty in his own image and likeness. Adam is my Root.

Man was the crown of all creations. To rule over all creatures and things and be a glory in joy and happiness at Eden, walking side by side with the creator. That was GOD’S Plan.

In comes Satan, the great Serpent and deceiver. Eve a companion fell to flattery. Adam the head faltered on the charm of his life. Together into disobedience and sin and on the road ever to nowhere but in perpetual confusion and groping in the darkness. Confine in darkness, all one see is darkness! That’s what Satan has done to our existence.

The mighty and powerful Naga in the Hills, the supreme and Royal Meitei in the Valley. The voiceless and hapless Kuki is kicked around like a ball. That’s what life in Manipur is all about.

God in all his wisdom knows that man will never see the light of day if left to himself and in slavery to Satan and his kingdom of darkness. Hence, come JESUS CHRIST the son of God into the world to show and demonstrate the way to salvation is in LOVE. With an outstretched arms at the Cross he gave up his sin less and unblemished LIFE so that I and you who are deep in sin and under the clutches of Satan can have our freedom.

JESUS CHRIST is GOD’S Son. He died for you and me and rise up again. Thereby overcoming Satan and the wages of sin: death. Believe in JESUS CHRIST and Salvation is yours. You are counted righteous and counted too as a son or child of GOD. Leaving behind the sins and darkness and into a life in Christ and into his kingdom of LIGHT.

The world look us down. Ignored and brushed aside and used us as a scapegoat or or punch bag to be punched and kicked around as one pleased to let off your streams! But God does not neglect and ignore us. He loved us like all other human beings. Knowing this truth liberates me. Joy and happiness is all i can feel. And to tell the whole world the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST: that he come for one and all so that you live a life of abundance. And that in him is true LIFE and happiness. There is no place for hatred for we all are children of God gone astrayed by Satan.

Come into the loving presence of the Lord and Savior of the world JESUS CHRIST. Be rooted in him and be confused no more with Satan and his kingdom of darkness.

To all my Kuki/Chin/Zomi brothers in Christ. Life may treat you harshly. This is because we are God’s chosen people. God is HOLY and cannot tolerate sin and disobedience. Let us examine ourself, and seek God’s face. In JESUS CHRIST alone we can overcome the world.

In the light of the above, are we doing the right thing in not burrying our SALPHATE! I sincerely and honestly pray and believe Jesus Christ holds the answer to all our problems and ailments!

God appears to Solomon Again. 2 Chronicles 7:11-22.

Is your god confined and unable to cross the barriers of your comfort Zone. You love your family, village, tribe, church, your freedom etc and so long as the confluence merged the better and the stronger is your faith in your god. All is well within, God is great and deserved our utmost praise and worship. Yet, when things turn bad, God become non existent. Well, if the above is your believe it’s time to have a re look in your Faith.

God Almighty is LOVE and Forgiveness and we are all created in his own image and likeness. To break barriers and walls of hatred, divisiveness, selfishness, lust, greed, and all other seeds and sins shown in disobedience against God. That’s what God symbolizes!

In JESUS CHRIST we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7. Christ come for all with God’s LOVE not confined and bounded. It is our very own sinful nature that confine him up!

Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord JESUS CHRIST. Romans 5:1. Our faith in Jesus as God’s free gift of his ever gracious LOVE despite of all our sins and inequities will open up God’s true nature to us: LOVE and a Forgiving Spirit out to heal, bless, preserve, protect and lead you from strength to strength.

Christ was without sin, but for our sake God made him share our sin in order that in union with him we might share the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21. Christ took all our sins, shames, fears, sickness, sufferings and put an end to it all at the Cross with LOVE declaring it as finished! Forgiven and no longer remembered. We are counted Righteous. It is this Message of GOD’S LOVE and Forgiveness to us which we need to pass it on to others within and beyond our comfort Zone.

Do not expect to do it on your own strength. Remember the free gift of your Faith in God Almighty through JESUS CHRIST the son and his promise of the counselor the HOLY SPIRIT. Rest in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, the free gift and the ever present helper the spirit. Speak it out and live it out in LOVE and Forgiveness breaking up barriers and walls all around marching forward in VICTORY in humility and in submission to the the will of the Lord JESUS CHRIST through whom we are all addressed as Children of God and a kingdom of PRIESTS for his GLORY.

JESUS CHRIST is beyond family, tribe, nations, religions! Come and be free from the clutches of Satan the EVIL one!

The Suffering Servant. Isaiah 52:13 to 53:12.

Sodom and Gomorrah! Destroyed. Annihilated. All that remains is ashes, dust and God’s belligerent vengeance and anger over the sexual perversity and immorality of the time. Doomed to silence forever with the message for all time: SIN DOES NOT PAY! YET, GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH!

Punishment inevitably awaits SIN. Sodom and Gomorrah is not about GOD’S hunt for punishment or his harsh hand of vengeance. It’s all about his endless LOVE and willingness to go the extra miles for the salvation of mankind from the EVIL clutches and stangulating grips of Satan. GOD’S LOVE go beyond our human understanding and tolerance. At all times, GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH!

God promise Abraham a descendants as numerous as the stars above and The sands below. Abraham was chosen so that he will command his sons and descendants to obey God and to do what is right and just. And FAITH was the basis for the great promise. Abraham and Sarah are aged and well beyond child bearing. Abraham have FAITH and was counted Righteous but Sarah laugh out in disbelief. Yet, God’s PROMISE never fail and out comes Issac: Laughters, smiles and happiness fills the airs. GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH!

The hunt for just and innocent man begins at Sodom and Gomorrah. God’s call to all is to bring everyone to his saving grace. The count down rings out loud, clear and is for all mankind. 50, 45, 30, 20, and finally settling at 10. But God go beyond literally pushing Lot and his family to safety. But what a sad and tragic end. Lot’s wife still perished looking back and turning into Salt. JESUS CHRIST words: You are the LIGHT and the SALT of the WORLD comes through mind. GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH!

Lot loves the green valleys and the perennial rivers and streams running through it. Perhaps the riches of Egypt, the fertile and lively greeneries of the Nile river come into picture. Finally, ending up at Sodom and Gomorrah. Pushed out to safely yet his wife perished with her eyes fixed always on Sodom and Gomorrah and nothing else. Grief stricken, he moved to the hills and in a cave he ended up being a father to Moab and Benammi (Moabites and Ammonites) through his daughters. A sad and tragical ending to one who moves out in FAITH with Abraham from Haran to Canaan with full of promises! Yet God’s LOVE SHINES THROUGH!

Abraham choose God. The place and setting are inconsequential. With GOD impossible is nothing. The lost son is never lost. Nineveh was destined for destruction but blessed. Why was it so? All because they turn back to whom the heaven and the earth and all things including you and me own our existence: Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH!

The earnest pleading of Abraham saves Lot and his daughters. The sincere repentance of the people of Nineveh saved them from destruction and total annihilation from God’s wrath and anger. All this despite of Jonah’s reluctance to reaching out to Israel’s arch rival. GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH!

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord JESUS CHRIST. 1 Thessalonians 5:9. GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH BRIGHTLY IN HIS FREE GIFT:JESUS CHRIST! Come accept HIM as your Savior and King and let darkness and Satan be banished from your life forever.

Let in JESUS CHRIST in to your LIFE and make GOD’S LOVE SHINES THROUGH YOUR LIFE BRIGHTLY EVER! STAY BLESSED!

The Sinfulness of Sodom. Genesis 19.

Happy New Year 2017 to one and all! Let the year ring in delightfulness and joyfulness from day one on and on and through ETERNITY.

It’s not just a wishes. I am going to pass on a mystery that can change your LIFE from one of despairs and from the jaws of defeat to ONE of happiness and joy under all circumstances. I began 2016 at Referral Hospital at Dimapur. I ended the year in L Semoul Church, Churachandpur in Manipur. With a thankful heart. PRAISE and Glory to GOD Almighty for his wonderful light, a revelation which i will cherish on and on with no boundaries. Endless, timeless, eternal: Truth that will stand for all times and ages!

I tried my best at living a GOOD Life but ended miserably. A big failure and a good for nothing that’s how I see myself. Putting an end to this miserable and pitiful existences is one option that look appetizing and appealing but words of the Lord Almighty God “You Israel my servant, I have chosen you from the farthest corner of the earth. Do not be afraid-I am with you. I am your God-let nothing terrify you!” Slowly but surely stirs me into his amazing LOVE.

My past condemned me. My best effort counts for nothing. My good behavior counts for nothing. My conscience prick: Remember the thing you did under the tree ten summers back. You are the devil stop being an Angel. Tossed side to side, up and down in the chasms of life in darkness. A tormented soul crying out with teary eyes in silence ever looking out for meaning alone in the dark with the stars blinking away in the sky.

The meaning of life unfolds miraculously. God is Love. Love your God with all your heart, soul and mind. God LOVE you: the way you are! Hence love yourself stop tormenting yourself. Your past life of sins, sufferings, shames, shortcomings, inequities all forgiven and remember no more.

JESUS CHRIST is GOD’S LOVE for mankind the crown of his creation: lovingly crafted in his own image and likeness. He paid the full price for all our sins at the Cursed CROSS so that we can have an abundant life and to the full and in peace. Wholeness in every aspects of one’s life. A free gift undeserved, unmeritted and unearned! Thats what the finished works of JESUS CHRIST does at the Cross 2000 years back for you and me.

JESUS CHRIST is that LOVE a mystery of God reveals to the prophets from ages. When you surrender your life to JESUS, HE will reveal his Truth and the meanings to your life. The silent and unobtrusive stars and all creations will speaks out to you the wonderful and amazing Grace and LOVE of God in your life.

God has a plan for you my friend. Today, this new year 2017 the best resolution you can make is: Give your life to JESUS CHRIST. He will reveal his LIGHT and lead you into a delightful and joyful journey of 2017 and through ETERNITY.

I have found my meaning in life. It’s all about spreading the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST. The Root, the descendant of David and the Bright Morning Star.

God bless you all. Let the LOVE and Grace of JESUS CHRIST be with you in all your walks of life and let his LIGHT shines on you and your family. Happy New Year once again!

Finding one’s Rest!

Canaan the land where milk and honey flows in abundance is what inspired a subjugated Israelites. In slavery at Egypt to freedom from bondage and be at rest amidst the abundance of the GOOD LIFE was what draws them. The sea parted for them, the best of thier enemies with thier fearsome horses and chariots vanished in thin airs. Washed, churned and cleanup!

But just three days and they forget all about the GOOD LIFE spread out ahead of them. Massah and Meribah, groaning and moaning all that they talk of what a good life they have at Egypt. Their dried up tongue, open up their deadly mouth spewing out the venoms of the snake within their thirsty mind. Rest is not what they encountered. Rather, arrested and nowhere to escape, trapped in the wilderness. A journey of 40 days turns into 40 years of journey. An endless move but the destination nowhere in sight. Infact, none except Joshua and Caleb makes it to Canaan.

What is your idea of finding your rest? Have you given any thought about it this New Year 2017? Many a time we look up to things: Creations as well as man made things as our source of rest. We worship the moon, the Sun, the Stars, the rivers and what not. We ran after Wealth, health and MONEY. But ended up in miseries and in pain with no peace of mind. We in India experience this truth thanks to our honourable PM, Narendra Modiji.

People with plenty of unaccounted monies, worries is in the head. Queue and line in anxiety is thier life. The poor and the honest no doubt are the hardest hit yet facing it bravely. Hoping against hope that better LIFE is on offer ahead!

Well, if better life is what you see in term of flowing milk and honey. You are in for a shock of your life. A never ending journey with no place for rest. That’s what your life is heading to.

Money comes and goes. Creation too will end ultimately. We are born and we eventually die. The Bible tells our life, 70 years at the most, a few lucky may go beyond 80. But what is life limping or being stationary and be at the mercies of other. Well, the GOOD NEWS is there is life beyond death. GOD THE FATHER AND CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE including you and me has a plan for each one of us. AND JESUS CHRIST is the answer to unearthing that speacial plan to your life.

I am the way, the truth and the life. Who ever is thirsty let him come to me. I will give him water that give life in ETERNITY. Come to JESUS CHRIST and find your rest. He is the LIGHT of the world and with Him in your life darkness will give way to peace. The peace of the world is absence of war. God’s peace is wholeness, completeness of life. Amidst the up and down of life; amidst the turbulence of the world: the Kingdom of Satan we are at peace and at absolute Rest.

Everyone must die once and be judged by God. In the same manner, Christ also was offered in sacrifice once to take away the sins of many. He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are waiting for him. Hebrews 9:27-28.

Come to JESUS CHRIST and find your Rest. In HIM ALONE is true Rest and peace.

O Lamka! JESUS weeps for us!

At Lazarus tomb, four days late yet Jesus was on time! Looking at Mary and Martha and the crowd that dearly loved and missed him. He too was moved and wept. Our pains and sufferings. He truly understands. To heal and be a solution for each and every of our problems. That is what he stands and comes for as one amongst ourselves. Yet, we understand HIM not. Letting him weeps and not heals. We rot in our own wisdom!

Lazarus is not death. He is a LIFE! JESUS CHRIST overcome death and is a lives and at rest in Heaven at the right side of God. The task assigned Finished! Completed! At the cursed CROSS all our sins and the power of Satan and death put to an end. JESUS CHRIST the one perfect sacrifice has makes us all Saved and counted Righteous. A free gift undeserved, unmeritted and unearned! GOD’S LOVE has transcended the Holiest of HOLY or the Most Holy Place at Jerusalem Temple. The barrier is torned down.

The criminal on the right at Calvary recognized CHRIST and lives. The promiscuous Samaritan woman at the well sees and lives. David look forward to his birth addressing him my LORD. He sees God always in his lives, getting his blessed presence. Abraham has faith in the PROMISE and his descendants multiply on and on: sands and stars a constant reminder of it.

Well, what has all these to do with Jesus crying for us netizens of Lamka Vangkhuo and one and all beyond.

For once we all professed to be one in Christ, yet we live a double life. Our Jesus does not transcend our personal belief, Church, denomination. Bounded on all sides not transcending our very own identity and beliefs! Trapped, condoned and confined within our very small clan, tribe or circle.

Our Jesus Christ is relegated and our Salphate rules. Our Jesus Christ love ends at Sielmat and from there our hatred ascended on all sides crecendo-ing on anything to do with Kuki and the Meitei. This hold equally true for the rest too. We see each other as enemies, not seeing ourselves as Children of God. Building walls of barrier is our expertise!

But does JESUS CHRIST promote hatred and enmity? Not at all. He is all for LOVE and Forgiveness. Infact, all with problems and sickness comes to HIM but goes back with solutions in hand. Happy and healed. Let us examine ourself and see where we stand. Let us be a solution and a LIGHT not a problem or the one that bring darkness all around.

The other night I see mobs at Deputy Commissioner’s Residence pelting stones while visiting an ailing mother-in-law at Headquarter Veng. Our very own Lunminthang Haokip, who has been tirelessly promoting free and fair poll. With songs uplifting our God for a just and equitable casting of our valuable vote. Law and order has reached it’s Nadir: literally going to the Dogs!

Well, our pride of being a Christ centric society takes a beating. CHRIST paid the price 2000 years back. We celebrated 100 years of Christianity a few years back. Yet, our Salphates are still lying at the Morgue 400 days plus and still counting. When can we all shout in joy: 4 days late yet our JESUS CHRIST is on TIME!

No hard feelings please! I am in tears and mourning. And JESUS weeps too. For HE is the GOD of LOVE, Forgiveness, Peace, Healings, and Victory is always in HIM. Yet, we binded Him up helpless and inactive.

Come let us free our JESUS CHRIST from our own narrow mindedness and beliefs. Let HIM truly free and deliver us from our burden and sorrows that we till date has deeply guarded away from HIS healing hands.

A few die-hard veterans but still young at heart and ever ready to the clarion call of duties for societal upliftments and the cause of justices for the poor, the outcasts and the neglected and voiceless masses. Come together under Society for First Justice spearheading the need for a Free and Fair Poll in our electoral system. A platform was arranged at Kuki Inpi, Ccpur office at Tuibuong today for all intending candidates including sitting MLAs.

In her welcome address, Pi Niangpi Singson, President SFJ, narrated the plight she underwent garnering for help and assistance for the poors, the orphans and the widows in our society. Where are your elected leaders? Questions directed very often to us for which we have no answer! Well, the time has come to change that: Let us all put our head and minds together and face the issue head on for a positive outcome.

Elder Thangkhomang Haokip, Secretary, SFJ in his keynote address stressed that Free and Fair Poll and the Model code of conduct of ECI are not against our Christian Ethics but rather upholding them is the core of Jesus Christ message: Justice for all including the poor and the downtrodden. Basing on Ezekiel 33:8-9, and Jeremiah 9:24 he narrated how the need to have such a platform where all stakeholders come together to address the burning issue came about.

Kuki Nampi Taokhom (KNT) was established in 1988. Ever since 54 or so prayers have been undertaken. The latest being at Khangbarol at Chandel District on November- December 2016. On 3-4 December 2016 KNT and SFJ Combined with some Senior Citizens gathered at L Semoul Christian Church for a fasting prayer. One tearful burden: Free and Fair Poll 2017 was resolved to be carried forward to its conclusion.

A joint consultative meeting on Ethical voting and electoral participation was organised at DTC Hall at D.C. Office on 21st December 2016 duly sponsored by DEO/CCP. And today’s program here is the continuation on the initiative. Thank you all and let’s make it a success by putting all our might on it in every area of our interactions.

Many intending candidates as well as sitting MLAs including ministers were called. However, only 4 turn up and only C T. Lian sit through till the end. Whether he eventually got elected or not, he definitely earn the regards and respects of the panelists as well as the few attendees who make it to the well meaning efforts of the organizers.

Mangcha Thagzom an intending candidate for Henglep narrated that he has been a social worker for the past 20 years. Pained by the naked reality of neglect and backwardness of the constituency he decided to throw in his candidature on the hopes that people look beyond his skin and looks and see his sincere heart and intents. He has no money but bank on God Almighty!

J Lhungdim, IDAS one of the panelist deeply pained by the thin attendance compliments the Organizers for the good initiative and hopes the same is carried forward so that free and fair poll becomes a reality. Standing up for the Truth is the need of the hour. Let the fixed and fear selection poll be turn into a free and fair poll indeed!

Daniel Nehlunlal Haokip opines that Democracy was in vogue before the Birth of Jesus Christ. The King then knows power truly rest with the masses and seeks thier approval. Here we are still debating how to ensure our valuable vote is casted before others do so! Sad but that our reality.

June Rose Vaiphei opines that Politics has becomes so dirty one thinks twice to call oneself being a Politician. Politics has become Moneytics: How to earn and the rest to the dustbin! Further she advocated that Religion and Politics should not be mixed. Many an Elder being in politics our Churches has become an Assembly of Devils!

Thangkhosei Haokip, President Kuki Inpi, Manipur lamented our lack of discernment in electing a rightful lawmaker. Development will automatically comes when the rightful person is elected. Let us expand our narrow mindedness fighting for a district headquarter. Pherzawl has materialized. Let Singat, Lamka or more blossom up so that development reach every nook and corners of our land.

Summing it up succinctly with witty quotes and jovial banters making one and all into splits of laughter, L S Gangte pointed out as under: We are all for:-

Free and Fair Poll.
Do no spend money for buying vote.
Do not take money for your vote.
Cast only your valuable vote.
Say no to impersonation.
Do not promote clanist: Phung le Chang politics let us broaden out outlook.
Avoid Door to Door campaigning rather promote distribution of your manifesto and let the voter’s decide thier choice.

TK Samuel, Chairman KNT addressed the participants not to lose sight of the enormity of the task in hand. Small and insignificant our numbers may be God has not neglected us. Our prayers are being answered in abundance. Praise and glory be to Him.

Hear no evil: Block the ears!
See no evil: Close the eyes!
Speak no evil: Shut the mouth!

Are we over simplifying the way to killing off the Devil and his evil deeds. Monkeying it all by putting the hands over the ears, eyes and the mouth. The wide world web is full of evils, Sunny Leone and the likes dancing naked in gay abandon! Close your eyes to see no evil. But with the advise you also goes blind from seeing many goods that are in it. So what’s the solution?

The world is full of EVIL. Ever since Eve the weakest link in the human chain fumbled to the viles and lies of Satan the EVIL ONE. We are all doomed and tumble down hill into the WORLD of Darkness. Having eyes but not seeing; ears but not hearing. Hence we speak out but curses and confusion is all that reign supreme! Putting our hands over the sense organ does not clean up. A cover up is all it does! And when it ruptured, destruction is unleashed!

It does not end with the 3 senses: Ears, Eyes and the Mouth. The tastebuds and the Skin too plays into the hands of the Devil. Some insists, common sense the sixth sense too is vernirable. Others persisted, the seventh: Nonsense is the worst of all. We ran after things but worshipping the Creator of the universe including the earth and us is ignored and unrecognized. We have been truly Blinded spiritually from seeing ourself as what we truly are: heading to HELL and Destruction!

Hence, GOD’S free gift: JESUS CHRIST! HIS amazing LOVE at the Cross for our salvation that too when we were deep in sins and shame. Deserving death but HE paved a way to heaven for us. To all those who believed in HIM Healing and Salvation comes. Lovingly addressed as Children of God.

When the promiscuous woman stands before JESUS. The world sees her nakedness and EVIL deeds though fully covered up. She herself sees that way naked, too ashamed looking only down. The dust and her sins are all that she sees. Yet, JESUS sees his own image and likeness and nothing else. Hence, woman! If no one has condemned you; neither do I! Go in peace and sin no more!

I will put my laws in thier minds and write them on thier hearts. I will be thier God, and they will be my people. Hebrews 8:10.

“He himself took took our sickness and carried away our diseases.” Mathew 8:17.

Friends! Stop being fooled into believing that our actions is what delivers us from the EVIL ONE. The blind, the Deaf and the Dumb sees, hears nor speaks any evil but are still destined for Damnation for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Only in the loving and gracious hand of JESUS CHRIST lies our Salvation! Come delay it no further.

Come to JESUS CHRIST and the Devil in you will flees. Peace and not confusions will reign in your LIFE. Your hands will be put into use for productive works and for his GLORY. Not blocking, closing and shutting your senses dancing to the tunes of Satan the EVIL ONE.

What is rest to you? Where do you find your Rest?

In six days God completes all creations and on the seventh day He rested! Adam too rested at Eden the perfect WORLD. For he too was made in the image and likeness of God. Eden crumbled when Satan decieves Eve to go beyond the purpose for which she own her existence. She is a rib of Adam and her role is to supplement him not to ripped him apart. Obedience to your Creator is the key to finding your Rest.

Satan is the opposing power to God. God is LIGHT, Satan is DARKNESS! God is LOVE, Satan is Hatred! God is LIFE, Satan is Death! God is GOOD and always forgiving. Satan is pride and always binding up, unforgiving: you are always a slave to him! Powerful as Satan is yet in the presence of GOD, Satan stands no chances! GOOD always triumphed! Darkness gives way to Light! Truth always triumphed!

And JESUS CHRIST is the promise or the answer to Satan’s overriding power over Adam the first man and his descendants. Doomed to Damnation in slavery, binded, bonded, blinded into the Kingdom of Satan and in darkness! Chased out of Eden into sin and shames. Ever chasing for rest in money, lustfulness, power, greed, hatred, selfishness, so on and on other than in God and his free Gift: JESUS CHRIST! One lies after another lies never finding Rest.

JESUS CHRIST is the only Way, the only Truth and the only LIFE! He is the living Bread that gives eternal life. He is the Rock from which gushes out living water that quench one’s thirst for ETERNITY. Moses cried out and manna rain downs from HEAVEN. He hit the Rock in anger and the water spring out giving relief to the thirsty Israelites in the wilderness.

Humanity is in sins and God is the last thing in his mind. A slave to Satan, with no hope of escape. Yet, GOD’S amazing LOVE comes into full play: He rained down JESUS CHRIST at the Cross to be our living Manna and Rock that gushes out living water so that we live in ETERNITY and thirst no more. To all those who believe: All sins and inequities not only forgiven but forgotten and remember no more! Hence, rising up triumphant over death and sin and resting at the right side of God in HEAVEN!

Rest is in JESUS CHRIST. He is our Rock and refuge! Where Jesus is, problems vanished! The sick got healed! The blind sees! The deaf hears! The dumb speaks! The lame not only walks but jumped! Where there is lacks, abundance is all one sees. Remembered the five loaves of bread and the two fishes that was in the boy’s hand. Blessed and transformed into feeding five thousands men and others. And still 12 baskets leftovers collected!

Are you still confused! Where JESUS CHRIST is even death vanishes. Remembered Lazarus. Four days late yet he lives! JESUS CHRIST lives and He want to free you from the EVIL and pervasive clutches of Satan and his kingdom of darkness.

To come to JESUS CHRIST is to acknowledge that you are a SINNER and alone you are helpless against the forces of Satan and his pervasive evils. In your weakness the loving voices of the HOLY SPIRIT will tell you “You are the beloved child of God in JESUS CHRIST. Made in HIS own image and likeness. Go in peace into the world with my strength. I am your God and you are my Son. Fear not be courageous. I am always with you!”

And going out as God’s Son means letting the HOLY SPIRIT guides you into living the LIFE Jesus Christ has lived in this WORLD. Loving and forgiving seven times seventy! God demonstrates his LOVE for us in this that while we were still deep in sins, Jesus Christ died for us at the Cross so that we live on and on in abundance!

To spread the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST in our LIFE is living it out in Christ. In the context of our Lamka Vangkhuo: The 3 Bills frightened us. Our Sulphates still lies unburried. God is with us victory is on the way we shouted but spreading nothing but hatred and mistrust!

Do not get me wrong. I love and pray for our Salphates and thier bereaved families. God is LOVE and he cares for all creations: Us, Nagas, Meiteis and all humanities all over the WORLD. To put/surrender all our sorrows and sufferings in the hand of JESUS CHRIST in Faith is the need of the hour. He knows our best and rest in his words and Truth is what living in JESUS CHRIST is all about. Untill and unless we understand this: Rest is the last thing that will comes to us.

Come to JESUS CHRIST and find your true REST AND PEACE!

Hebrews 4:1-13. Colossians 2.

A week or so back, while on a visit to Churachandpur District Hospital, I am distracted by an anguished wailing of one in deep pains. I look down and a father carries his death daughter in clothes and on his back. Behind him, inconsolable, down and distraught crying her lung out in pain is the mother. “Why o why, come back! My dear.”

Tears just slip off my eyes! Lost for words and mourning deeply for the family. A good Samaritan springs up from nowhere. Signaling the Father to stop. He then ran and after a while come back with his maroon worn out Maruti 800, dropping them off to thier destination.

All of these happens so fast I was numbed into doing nothing but just standing and staring in the tragedy of what is call Death: the wage of Sin! The images lingered on in my mind. Feeling Sad for the mother. Feeling pain at the injustice and tragedies of life. Feeling happy and elated too at seeing that all is not lost that Good Human Being still existed. The worn out Maroon Maruti 800 and its owner: Respect is all i have for them. May thier tribe increases manifold!
Scenes of death is always painful. The other day, a friend’s mother has passed away at the ripe ages of 94 years. She has been sick and bedridden for the past five years. In and out of senility, on one occasion she urged her daughter-in-law to go to so and so and asks them for thier forgiveness. For in her eyes, she has been a proud and bad woman. But that’s not how the families see her. Loved, cared and longed. Despite of the sickness and the suffering, how they wished she lives on. Tears just rolls down from my eyes!

Well friends! When death comes callings there is no time table or age or specific schedule. It can come anytime! And once it comes there is no turning back. The Bible says the wage of Sin is Death. And death is not the end of life. Judgement awaits!

Sin entered Eden through Satan. Man made in the image and likeness of God lost his spiritual linkage. Blinded and captive to Satan and into his kingdom of darkness. Yet, God’s LOVE and Mercies endures for his beloved crown of creation hence, JESUS CHRIST comes into the world. Paid with his life at the Cross but rise up in victory over death and sin.

In the death and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST the only way to the Truth and Life to God the Father in Heaven is restored back. In JESUS CHRIST alone lies our Salvation: counted Righteous and as Beloved Children of God, destined for an inheritance in HIS KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

Jesus Christ come down from heaven not to do his own will but to do the will of God the Father. John 6:38. Laying down his LIFE so that we may have a LIFE in ETERNITY and in abundance is the will of God. John 10:10. So, say yes to LIFE! Give your life into the loving hand of JESUS CHRIST. Your sins and shames met its death, is finished, crusified at the Cross with JESUS yet rising up and ever in victory and in his absolute holiness sitting at the right side of God the Father in Heaven.
